IV is a location-based dating and networking app for Ivy Leaguers only. Users must have attended an Ivy League university to join the app. Users login through Facebook and LinkedIn to gather basic information and pull information from the user’s social graph and profile data in order to inform the compatibility algorithm that helps match users to each other. Users who log into the app view profiles of their potential matches and swipe left to pass on a match or swipe right to like a match. If two users like each other, the full names are revealed and they are able to enter a private chat. Users can end a chat at any time. Users can also delete their account or the app at anytime.
